Energy for sale? Anyone?

Energy is critical, so fundamental, it is not even apparent. We don’t think about this basic existential freebee because we take it for granted. It is a given. It is like breathing; you don’t ask yourself "Am I breathing?" You just are breathing. But how well? The same goes with your energy.

How energetic are you?
What can you go about to increase your level of energy to have a better lifestyle, to be able to accomplish more.

Be free of unwanted fear

A lack of energy won’t lead you to start new projects, organize, sets goal, create, play, dream, exercise, add what you want here, if you don’t have the energy, it won’t happen. You can’t think productively. There is no oil in the engine. Whatever you do is unpleasant, takes you forever like an endless chore.

You can’t participate in any extra curriculum activities.

It is basically the hub of your life like the pumping human heart in the middle of your chest. It is the control center. Without energy, you are simply surviving. You are a zombie.

Where can you get the energy?

  • At the grocery store, as food in a form of fuel for your body
  • In your bedroom, as resting, sleeping in order to let your body revitalize itself.
  • In your relationships, as in getting rid of the energy vampires, the ones that are sucking your energy with negativity and fallacious needs
  • In your environment, as finding a place where you can relax. Listen to music, go where wilderness resides, reconnect with nature. Find a place where you can center your emotion , your thoughts ,seek quietness within. Just "be" for a few minutes.

What fuel are you running on?

Food is a big one. What you eat is what you become. After eating chips everyday for 5 days, you will result in an unhealthy greasy, pimply skin. Your energy will be low. I guaranty you. I have lived it.

Food glorious food!

Look at your diet. Really, look at it. Are you ingesting simple core foods? Is it so processed that the list of ingredients takes you more than 5 seconds to read? How many times do we need to be reminded to eat food that is unprocessed? The least man has manipulated the food you ingest the easier it will be for your body to create sustainable fuel for you. And it will be healthier.

Core Food

Simple. Eat from the ground up. Yes, eat your veggies, fruit, grains and meat. But eliminate the processed food from your diet as much as possible. Also, reduce your fat/sugar/salt/coffee/alcohol intake. I am finally realizing, and coming to terms with, that refine sugar just does not agree with me. It will make me sleepy, decrease my immune system, and will only give me sore throats at the end. Everybody has a different digestive system. But do not tell me that, minute rice and express macaroni and cheese with 2 pieces of broccoli on the side is good for you, because you would be lying.

The beginning of energy

Digestion takes up energy and creates energy. Whatever you put into your mouth will reflect on the outer world.

Less intake

Also, eat less. We are now a sedentary civilization (for the most of us anyway). We don’t need to eat as much as we think we do. Cut down on the indescribable food and cut down on the portions.

Horizontally

Sleep. Go to bed earlier. Restful night of sleep replenishes your body, your brain. Not enough is said about resting your body. Please go to bed earlier.

The infamous action called exercise

Yes, it made the list because as mentioned before we are sedentary. Start moving, walking, exercising and you will increase your energy level, plus you will lose the extra weight, you will feel better about yourself and will find a new confidence about life.
